Glirius John was author of a treatise "On the Old and New Testament." Sandius and Bock give no particulars of his life ; but it may be inferred, from the position which his name occupies in Sandius's list, that he was a contemporary of Matthias Glirius, of whom, judging from the identity of the surname, he was probably the brother, or some near relative.
